Ken and I will arrive in Rome, Friday May 14th, 2021.
We will be leaving our home in Calgary Thursday, May 14th. If you are from Calgary and want to fly with us we are happy to have you join us.
If you would like to join us in Rome we can make a request for you to stay at our usual hotel. They gift us with pricing from our first visit in 2012 and we pass that on to our pilgrims. The location is excellent with all of the major attractions nearby. Breakfast is included in the cost of the hotel. You can walk to the Pantheon pictured below in two minutes. Our hotel in Rome fills up quickly. Please confirm early in 2021.

Friday, May 14th at 7:00pm. We will attend an evening at the Vatican.The crowds are smaller and the ambiance is incredible. This is a night open tour of the Museums and the Sistine Chapel with Happy Hour and a large assortment of appetizers at the Vatican Museums. There is also a possibility of live music at 8:00pm.
Saturday, May15th at 8:30am Pick up by private car at our hotel and transported to the Four Ancient Papal Major Basilicas of Rome. There are only 4 Major Basilicas in the world - the highest ranking of all churches - and they are all in Rome. The Ancient Four Major Basilicas of Rome are the Basilica of St Peter, the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls, the Basilica of St Mary Major and the Arch-Basilica of St John Lateran. The highest rank of all of these is the Arch-Basilica of St John Lateran - the Cathedral of Rome - and thus the Mother Church of the entire world. Following in the steps of countless saints and pilgrims for centuries and millennia before you, we give you the chance to visit the official Four Papal Major Basilicas of Rome.
Sunday, May 16th, There is an Angelus/Papal Blessing at 12:00 p.m. in St. Peter’s Square
No tickets are required. Sunday is open for whatever you desire to do in Rome.
Monday, May 17th. Depart from our hotel at 9:00am with private drivers to Assisi, this cost is not included in the pilgrimage as some people go directly to Assisi on their own.
